SLIDING SASH SPIRAL BALANCE
This type of window is a modern version of the classic sash window, where the traditional cords and weights mechanism is replaced with spring balances.
Springs installed on both sides of the frame provide stable, lightweight and smooth opening and closing.
This mechanism is more compact, allowing for slimmer frame profiles – making it an excellent solution for both heritage and conservation projects, as well as modern architecture.
As with traditional sash systems, our spiral balance windows are made from premium quality timber, offering a classic appearance while meeting contemporary energy performance standards.
Importantly, spring balance mechanisms require less maintenance than traditional systems while still delivering reliable and long-lasting performance.
Slimmer frames and sashes also allow for larger glazed areas, resulting in better natural light and a more open feel.
